Mets Call Up Top Cheap Jerseys Pitching Prospect Noah Syndergaard - RealGM Wiretap
With Dillon Gee on the disabled list, the New York Mets announced that Noah Syndergaard, their top pitching prospect, would be called up from Class AAA Las Vegas. He is scheduled to make his major league debut Tuesday against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.
“Noah’s well-deserving,” General Manager Sandy Alderson said. “He’s the guy.”
At one point, however, Syndergaard did not seem like “the guy.” In spring training, the left-hander Steven Matz impressed the Mets with his power stuff and his poise.
